Ask yourself this: are you ready?
You may be wondering if this article was right for you. You are probably interested if fitness and would die for a long lean sculpted body. But are you really ready? You have to seriously ask yourself that.
The women you see in the fitness magazines, the celebrities you see on television are not regular people. These people make a career out of shaping, and toning their bodies. They have the best nutritionist, personal trainers, coaches, money and time in the world to achieve that. In other words, they train, eat and sleep just for that. That is what they do all day and every day!
So here is the million dollar question: Do you have the mental skills to get the body you want? Here are a few questions that you have to ask yourself. Have you ever made statements?
- It’s too early to work out
- I hate to eat clean
- Its too cold to walk to the gym
- The gym is too crowded
- If I only had a spotter
Of course you are not responsible for how cold the weather is but you are responsible for your state of mind during your work outs and anytime you are preparing yourself for your work outs. For example, if you can think that working out is the most boring thing you can do, or you can think of your work outs the most enjoyable activity you ever do.
So if you view working out as a challenge, then you won’t ever get the body that you need. Sooner or later, you will just give up.
The key here is to have a positive mind set. You must have positive attitudes, positive out looks, positive behaviors. This will lead to your dream body. “You are what you think.”
